Our vision for "VITA" in midtown is to create a quintessential, New York style Italian/American restaurant, steakhouse, and bar. The moment you walk in the door, you will be greeted with enthusiasm and life. "VITA" will be comparable to legendary restaurant/bars such as, "PJ Clarks", "Toots Shorr" and "The Grille Room at Smith and Wolinksky's".
Our old-world style has become "new" again, and our midtown location will become a watering hole and eatery for business people from every industry. We envision media, political and sports figures convering and mingling, as "VITA" will be the spot many different worlds come together over great food, libations and exquisite wines.
Our food will bring people in with our award-winning, made-from-scratch, traditional Southern Italian recipes. Our mouthwatering steaks, seafood and pastas will be the talk of the town. All of our ingredients will be fresh, and hte cheeses and olive oils will be imported directly from Italy.
"VITA" will welcome large groups in private dining areas and will offer to serve them the traditional Italian "family-style" way. We will also be able to accommodate large groups in our dining room, and give them the opportunity to order "family-style". With "family-style", we find people who share great food and wine tend to talk and laugh more, thus creating the up-beat, high-energy feel we envision with this restaurant.
Tony LaRocco -
Atlanta restaurateur and leukemia survivor Tony LaRocco has been in the restaurant business for more than 30 years beginning with a family-owned establishment and leading to owning his own critically-acclaimed restaurants in Atlanta, New York City, Hilton Head and Destin.
LaRocco was the first to bring family-style dining to Atlanta when he opened Fratelli di Napoli in Buckhead in 1995 and he has a natural-born skill for making guests feel welcome like they are in his very own home when dining at his restaurants.
"At VITA, guests are treated just like friends of the family, "says LaRocco. "I have found that people who share great food and wine tend to talk and laugh more together, thus creating the upbeat, high energy feel that makes a restaurant remarkable," he adds.
